Paw Foods Corp is a fictitious pet food company operating in Canada. Mr. Prashant Singh, the Head of Operations needs a daily dashboard for quick decision-making and knowing where the department stands on any given day. Mr. Singh needs to read this updated dashboard before hitting his 9 am executive meeting where he should be able to discuss demand forecast with Marketing and discount savings with Finance heads respectively.

With this dashboard, we largely explore these objectives:

  • Who the top vendors are?
  • Which vendors give us the highest discount?
  • A profile of the inventory in stock

To solve for this we are going to create a dashboard consisting of the following reports

Purchase Reports
  • Vendor Analysis Report - spending/location wise
  • Top Vendors w.r.t discounts
  • Total Invoices per period and Comparison
  • Discount Savings
Inventory Reports
  • Warehouse wise Inventory, Quantity wise Inventory and Value wise Inventory
  • Current Inventory
  • Historical Inventory
Production Reports
  • Production Details with Scrap Value
